Breast Cancer Help, Inc. and The Long Island Cancer Help and Wellness Center Celebrate Grand Opening of New Bay Shore Facility
New Location Offers More Services to All Cancer Survivors
June 27, 2011
On June 17, Breast Cancer Help, Inc. celebrated their grand opening of its Bay Shore facility located at 32 Park Avenue. Local elected officials and breast cancer survivors took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony and a tour of the organization’s new office.
The 3,182-square-foot building is self-contained and is larger than the previous facility at Sunrise Highway. The larger facility allows the Long Island Cancer Help and Wellness Center to provide more modalities for all cancer survivors. The building offers separate rooms for the following services and modalities: creative writing and art therapy, Zumba Gold, yoga and meditation classes, massage therapy; reiki and lymphatic drainage.
